Mentees Doing Good: Jordan

Jordan Ruf, Cambridge TeamMate, was awarded the Nebraska FFA State Star in Agriculture Production at the Nebraska State FFA convention in March. He was selected as one of 8 finalists from around the state and had to interview at the convention and was honored as the winner.

There are four State Star awards given in the areas of Agriscience, Agribusiness, Agriculture Placement, and Agriculture Production. Jordan had to keep records throughout the year of his cattle herd and completed an application that was judged at District FFA competition. He then competed at State Reviews in February and was chosen as one of 8 finalists to be interviewed at the State Convention in March.

Jordan has been a mentee in Cambridge since 2019. He’s been meeting with his current mentor, Nicholas, for almost a year.
